The Help

Many people have been asking me what Jackson, Mississippi (where Audrey Grace will be) is like. I sometimes have a hard time explaining it- it's a small city with a big heart. The kind of place where everybody knows everybody. Jackson is also a very stylish city. The girls I grew up with and their mothers and grandmothers alike, really knew how to dress. Jackson is the subject of a new film that is about to be released, "The Help." If you want to know what it was like to live in Jackson, Mississippi in the early 1960s, I urge you to see this movie. Although I do not reside in Mississippi full time anymore, I take my hometown with me wherever I go. The film, based on the book of the same name, also takes place during the time Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly were in their prime! It seems the costumes in the film were greatly inspired by them. The film stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain.

Love from London!

London

I have been so busy in London and have had such problems with the internet. Nevertheless, here are some photos of my favorite city in the world. I can't wait to antique shop for the store! I bought some beautiful Marie Antoinette paper dolls for Audrey Grace yesterday.
Some favorite places in London (as seen from above): Primrose Hill, Gloucester Avenue, Primrose Bakery, Shikahuchi Vintage (where I bought a beautiful pink maribou fur dress for the store!), Camden Town and Camden Passage Antiques Market.
I will be here for another month and I am so glad. I truly adore this city. I hope to live here permanently very soon.

Rachel Antonoff!

Rachel Antonoff will be stocked in Audrey Grace and I am so excited! Rachel's fall line is an adorable mix of dresses, skirts, tights and jackets inspired by snowy winters and high school dances. I am thrilled to be stocking her line! Her designs have been worn by Emma Stone, the girls of the band The Like, Emma Roberts, Zooey Deschanel, Alia Shawkat, Kaley Cuoco and my personal favorite, Alexa Chung. Here is a sneak peek at some of her previous designs from past collections. So cute!

This is a sneak peak of a beautiful photo shoot Jeannine Tann did for the shop inspired by The Virgin Suicides. The full set of photographs will be exhibited when the shop opens. I have had several things just get finished for the store- which are so exciting and I cannot wait to share with you!
First of all the amazing photographer Ella Ruth Cowperthwaite, all the way in England, did a photo shoot inspired by Audrey and Grace especially for the store. Here is a sneak peek, the final photos will be displayed in the store when it opens.

Three new exciting designers that will be stocked in Audrey Grace! Are you a fan of these lovely labels? I am so excited to introduce Lady Petrova, Sretsis and Orla Kiely to the shop. We will have limited editions of each collection. These are photos from the most recent collections, they aren't exactly what will be in store, but you get an idea of each line. I actually bought the lovely pink dress below from Lady Petrova today! These lines are perfect for a modern day Audrey or Grace!
